The Pigeon Ambassadors of Hope and Magic (PAHM) is a group of four Berlin theatre makers, originally from Mexico, Chile, the USA, and Russia. Our project is an ongoing series of adventure stories in pursuit of a mysterious figure, the Pigeon Queen. The stories reference graphic novels, animated adventure television, and film noir but are performed in a theatrical context. We use our training in movement, music, dance, and mask to make a better connection with our feathered cohabitants and open space for less anthropocentric ways of seeing our city environments. In this way, the stories are our ongoing wish for a better world.
